tips for g2 hair?

Does anyone have any tricks for styling G2 glitter hair?  I have an extra queen sunsparkle that I was going to try and clean up, but her hair is crazy.

I use conditioner (hair or fabric) and style as any other gen pony Soak in conditioner for a while - anything up to 24 hours if hair is really frizzy, then rinse and style. You can wrap around a leg for a classic pony flick, around straws for ringlets or use a straightening iron to get rid of frizz (make sure the hair is doused in conditioner whilst using the iron, as the tinsel will melt. I have done G3 tinsel hair this way with no issues)

If you are going to try the straightening iron method, I would wait to see if all the other methods don't work before trying it. It can completely ruin a pony if you aren't careful.

I would also read or watch some tutorials before trying it.

I use a straightening iron for severe frizz and tinsel. But thats only after Ive conditioned and boiled out the worst of it. Then I use a spray of 50/50 downey and water and keep it super wet while ironing.
The iron is one of those things that takes practice and a gentle hand.

I practiced using G3s that were most likely to be baited anyway. I like to keep hair from snipped ponies for other projects so even a pony Im going to bait out gets the hair done.
