It varies from state to state.  Most states only allow in-person voting on election day unless you will not be available and can receive an absentee ballot.  Some states have early in-person voting.  Others have early mail-in voting.

And go out and vote.  It's your civic duty.

I haven't decided yet if I'm going to vote.

I would urge you to go out and vote! It's going to be a close election, and every vote counts :)

My state allows early voting so I've already voted.  :)

I haven't decided yet if I'm going to vote.

PLEASE vote. Remember, it's not only the presidential race on the ballots - there are other national, state, and local races and propositions as well, and each one is important. Even if you feel that your vote for president doesn't count, because of the Electoral College or because you vote the opposite of the majority in your state, remember that your vote absolutely counts for down-ballot candidates and local propositions.

Voting is a right and a privilege that shouldn't be taken lightly or for granted, and this election matters more than any we've had in quite a while, because it's sure to be a close race.

I already knew which presidential candidate I was voting for, so I researched all my down-ballot candidates and the proposition for my city, and voted the week before last.  ^.^

Agreed.  Please vote.  Voting is your right and your privilege and something that people have worked very hard for.  It's important to let your voice be heard.  If there's any issue that you care about, you can't make any difference unless you cast a ballot.

As for me, I'm voting tomorrow after classes.  :)

I will be voting today. Presidential still scares the crap out of me and today will be intense. My fiancé won't vote either even though I have reminded him about the local and other things than just the presidential election. Frustrating to me but his choice. He will not be allowed to continue to complain about it though around me if he doesn't. Can't stand that from anyone.

Voting after work today! Black people and women fought for my right as a black woman to vote, and I won't be taking that for granted.

I agree with this. My mom brags that she has never voted in her life. This angers me because women have fought so hard in the past for their rights to vote. This is the first election where she actually has some thing to say, and it's apparent which candidate she likes. Where we vote is in a rural area and a swift, easy drive five minutes down the road. It's not super busy and would just take ten minutes of her time to vote! My brother, mother, and I all got into an argument over her lack of taking time ONCE every FOUR years to just get off her arse and do something to make a difference in my country. My mother is scared to vote because my dad may be angry, because he supports Trump and my mom does not, she wants Hillary. It's her choice to pick what SHE wants. If he yells at you over this, it's crazy. If he divorces you over it, he's nuts. I don't think he will. He still loves his Hillary-voting kids. He shouldn't try to dominate who his wife votes for. She is easily pushed over. We aren't pushing her who to vote for, just to freaking vote. Like I said, she has made it apparent who she wants. Just go VOTE!!!!

And you can count me in the voting column.  My entire family has.

Also, I might be immortal according to one of the polling ladies who has been there since I started voting 14 years ago.
