Is this stain on the flocking or the body?

All you G1 restoration experts, I need your wisdom. It looks like it's just the flocking that is stained to me, but I'm not familiar enough with SS ponies or flocked toys in general to be sure.

That reddish/pink mark looks more like it's stuck on the plastic though, does anyone know what that could be? Would that be a case of plastic break down? It's only that one spot really, though around her muzzle it seems she has a faint red blemish too.

Thank you.

Awww her hair pigment bled into the flocking.  At this point, it's highly likely that has penetrated into the plastic.  :(

Ah, okay, so it's a case that it is the flocking and more than likely spread to the body too? Makes sense. I'm not bothered if it's a permanent stain, mostly just curious here. I was dabbling on the idea of deflocking her (her flocking is a little crushed and thin in places, and she has a couple patches of missing flocking already) and figured if it was just the flocking, it would definitely do her some good to be cleaned up.

Thanks so much for your insight lovesbabysquirmy.

It's annoyingly common with all chartreuse-haired ponies!  :(  NSS Ribbon gets stains all over her mane/neck/tail.

I don't know how you'd get it off the flocking, but if you deflock her and the stain is on her body, you can probably sun-fade it away.

I guess that's the cost of having neon hair. Annoying for the body but it's so pretty.

Sunfading is a good idea, but it's on her symbol too so might not be the best in her case. If i do decide to deflock her and she is still stained, It's not a huge deal.

Thank you both. ^.^
