Are you starting to de-tangle at the ends of the hair and working your way up? Otherwise you will just be pushing down all the tangles into a bigger rat's nest.
Have you tried soaking her hair in fabric softener overnight .... or even for just a few hours? A lot of times, that helps detangle the hair on dolls and ponies. Its worked for me in the past.If you try it, maybe pick a white or clear type fabric softener, to avoid any possible dye from staining or soaking into the hair. After soaking, try gently lathering her hair in conditioner and gently picking through the curls to separate. Work in really small sections, from the bottom up (as you said you had been doing).Patience is your friend. Best of luck to you! ☺ Edit: just saw the earlier posts about fabric softener. My bad!

I might try that next. Even using a flat iron/straightener isn't working too well... best of luck.. also you can go to the dollar store and get the most CHEEP conditioner you can find.. the more pretrolum in it the betterthat will alsowork.

Yep. As I said, I have curly hair, so I know all about careful detangling. I think human hair is easier to moisturize for sorting out, though...
