Plans for PE in the making

I bought PE a little over a year ago from another member here.  And like the rest of my collection, it has sat in a box, stored away.  Well not anymore!  I just purchased this table off of Craigslist today.

Although I knew ahead of time it would be not quite wide enough, I think I can MacGyver up something to make it work.  Plan is to sand off the top and then 'try' to paint it to look like some sort of landscaping.  Key word being try.  Anyway, I am excited to see what the next two weeks will bring and to show an updated and hopefully finished project picture.  After PE, my next project will be a display case for my sea ponies.  I already have any idea, just need to figure out how to make it happened.

Wow thats going to be awesome! I love to see how folks display PE. Mine sat assembled fully on the floor of my last pony room- so not doing it justice! Im doing my new pony room now, and its on a long folding table covered with a green sheet along with my castle & nursery. An improvement but Id love full scenery some day
