G2 UK and French comic books?

Anyone know how long the G2 magazine / comic ran in the UK?  (Like number of issues.)  And also, was the French comic book unique in terms of content, or was it the same content only translated into French?

I have a feeling that the French comic might have run longer--is that correct?

Sorry i don't know, but i would like to know too because i have a french g2 magazine my grandmother found at her house.

I want to say there were 14 UK issues. It ran 1999-2000

I have a French magazine labeled as issue #11 that features the baby ponies (for example, Light Heart and Baby Tickle, Ivy and Baby Fern).  Does that match up with the ponies that were in the UK comic around their issue #11? 

The style of French comic #11 looks more "freehand" than the UK comic book covers I've seen. By that I mean that a lot of the drawings don't match up with the usual G2 images / cilpart that you'd see on merchandise, stickers, etc.

I have 6 issues of the g2 UK , I would like to know too about the run for both of the Magazines
I saw some comics last weekend , One of them ended at 50 £   Another at 25 £  I think

It seems that the French comics also had different lines. I have a bunch of the Magazines running from 1 up to 20 (which seems to be the last issue) and the comics are all in that 'freehand'style. No translations from the uk ones.

The others are the Activités, which contain more puzzles and such There were probably 20 numbers as well

And lastly I have one from Magazine Hors-Série (issue no. 2) but I have no idea how many of these were made.


I can take some pics of them next to another if you want to see

If they were listed as being in Manchester then they were mine! I was amazed at that ending price.

I'm still amazed at all the extra g2 stuff France got in general. Was g2 just that popular in France, as opposed to the rest of europe?
