What would your dream 'pony room' look like?

I'm more of a toy collector than a MLP collector  (tho ponies are a big part of what I do collect) so I would want a "toy room" more than just a pony room. Glass shelves of various sizes along the walls and maybe a few freestanding glass shelves along with a maybe a table or 2 for playset kinda things.

Oookay. I haven't quite figured this one out, but I would love to have like a wall full of detolf-shelves with UV-protecting film on. I would also like neat shelves to display playsets (would love glass cabinets or something), a nice sofa or somthing with a table so I could sit in there and read or work or stuff, and would also like to keep pet snakes in there. I would love an opal cornsnake at some point, and it'd go perfectly with that room.
I want the walls either black or white. I'm very much into gothic furniture and house-styling, so I'd love to go for black.

well it would have to start with this baby here i neeeeeeed this in my life even though i dont quite have a pony room yet to put it in
its quite i beauty and going by the size should fit all my G1s plus show stable and waterfall

then i would get 2 other glass shabby chic china cabinets to hold my other vintage toys and G4's.
there would have to be a bed in there too for the plushys and mlp duvet, i desk for wrapping up trade parcels,
and it would be insanely vintage girly looking ...... pink floral wallpaper.

i use to want those wall shelves but i need to keep everything reasonably dust free so i dont have to dust and clean all the time

I'd want some giant statues and the ride on ponies that used to be outside shops for .25 in addition to the normal pony room stuff. Never enough pony. Pony murals on the walls even. hahaha.

It would be pink & white themed, pink walls and white armours with glass windows and lots of shelves. I'd want a matching fancy table to place my PE on and one of those old fancy couches & a high heel chair lol

Oh, the plans I have for this room...

1. Ponyland-green carpet, with full pony murals covering the walls and ceiling
2. Windows blocked off, ponies kept in glass cabinets in the closet (with original closet doors removed)
3. Short tables for playsets, cushions for knees, adult-sized bean bag chairs for lounging
4. Craft area for custom and restoration work
5. No food, no drink, no pets allowed, and everyone else has to be supervised.

My dream is a cross between pony room and library, with shelves all over and a library-style ladder. There'd be an armchair in the corner for me to sit in and read or simply to look at my ponies.

Same!! That's exactly what I've been (unrealistically) wishing for. Rooms for each generation with dioramas and playsets. Like, there could be three G3 rooms: one with Ponyville set up in the middle of the room decorated in pinks and purples, another one decked out to look like Butterfly Island in tropical colors, and a third pastel room for the Crystal Rainbow Castle. Then the bathrooms are all outfitted for pony/doll spas. First floor is ponies, second floor could be dolls and other misc. toys. A personal museum, really.

If I didn't have to worry about money, space, or practicality, I would set up little biomes by painting the walls, decorating the shelves, etc, and display my ponies within dioramas of where I think they would live (if ponies were real). So, my room would have sections for tropical, beach, ocean floor, snowy tundra, flower garden, desert, and meadow, plus the very important cloud/space region. And in the center would be all those ponies that choose to live in Ponyopolis, the capital city!

And ideally I'd like to have each of these biomes protected by a glass cover/door/something, so they wouldn't get dust or water damage.

Hmm, this would be a challenge! I collect breyers and schleich models along with ponies, and my girlfriend collects transformers toys and hotwheels... We might have to split the room down the middle! :laugh:

Ideally there would be comfy carpet, low tables for playsets and games, and lots of pillows/beanbags/blankets/etc to get comfy and make forts with. Also a TV for watching cartoons on, of course! I think I'd like shelves more than cabinets, and definitely some kind of UV blocker on the windows.

I'd love a really elegant, streamlined sort of setup.  Tall shelves with glass doors all along one wall, and lots of drawers too for accessories.  I nearly always organise my ponies according to set, except maybe when I set up a scene with a playset.


I also really love hidden things and surprises... secret passages, hidden compartments, secret rooms and stuff like that!  I'd want to have a few amazing things hidden away somewhere unexpected, whether in drawers or a closet full of mocs with MLP wallpaper inside, or a panel in the wall that opens up to reveal petite ponies!  I think sometimes things are more exciting and special when they're not always in front of you   Of course, you could also open everything up for ultimate pony-ness

I'd also have a nice plush floor rug, a comfy chair and a little table and a box of lovingly-restored ponies for my nieces to play with.  It would be sweet to have little girls playing ponies like I did as a kid
