I know almost everyone here collects things other than ponies. What do you collect?

I'll start off with a few of mine:

Black and white cats, in honour of my two fluffballs. Not included is a mug and shirt that aren't in my display cube.

Pigs, I (unfortunately) don't have a pet pig, I don't know why or how it started. I also have a mini collection of those Joie pig kitchen supplies.

Yoshi! Those rainbow dinos have been a favourite all my life. The collection is obscured with that giant 1UP shroom, I should fix that. One day I do need to get a plush of every coloured yoshi.

Back to the Future/DeLoreans, I'm not a car person but I love the trilogy. I don't know why the movies aren't here, and I also have a poster on my wall.

Vintage books, or at least leather bound. Two of them are technically bound in the 90's/00's, but they are still too pretty to not sneak in. One day, I dream of having a room where the wall paper is literally shelves full of vintage books.

Oh jeeze, I will have to post pictures of all of my stuff! I have anime/video game figures, tsum tsums, Disney dolls, a big Pokemon collection, stuffed animals, a rock and fossil collection, seashell collection, earth space science book collection, an Iwako Japanese eraser collection, zelfs, I frame all my Japanese candy boxes/wrappers so there's those, and a growing mug collection! I'm also starting an accidental army of lucky cats from Japan! Every time I go to daiso I end up taking a new lucky cat home with me- they are cute and only $1.50 so its hard to resist LOL!

Oh yes and I am not sure if this counts but at least half my home is decorated with cherry blossoms. My paper, plates, the cup I'm drinking out of right now, my tea that is in the cherry blossom cup, my entire bathroom, shampoo, conditioner, some anime figures are cherry blossom themed, the art on my walls, my soap, my deoderant, and I have cardcaptor sakura stuff....I love cherry blossoms because I dream about them frequently! In fact my husband and I first kissed with cherry blossoms and my perfume at the time was cherry blossom+peach.

I have a bundle of small collections, partly due to being super picky about things and also because I'm very careful about keeping my digs from feeling too crowded. At the moment it's just right - not too empty and not too busy - so I'll probably hold off on adding to any of my collections for a while.

First are the boats! All the little ones are normally dotted around my room but they've been gathered together specially today.

I don't see why cherry blossoms wouldn't count, it's a collectible theme in my books. There were these adorable cherry blossom and bunny plates I found at J-Town today I should upload a picture for you.

Nice collections Taproot! The boats are easily my favourite, I love staring at those really fancy wooden boat models, and I would totally collect them too if they weren't so expensive. I totally get the small collection goals.

Ahh! That is an amazing collection of instruments! Do you play any of them?  That book room I was talking about, I would actually fill them with instruments myself, so I don't think that is weird at all!

Handheld fans sound like a neat collection, like the ones that have the wooden frames and paper-ish material right? The dragons sound amazing too!

Zombienixon, that giant van in the lower right, I used to have that! It's the one that opens up into a playset with little cars inside, right? That's so nostalgic.

I love how everyone has completely different collections so far, it's so interesting to hear about. Anyone else feel like sharing?

Ahh! That is an amazing collection of instruments! Do you play any of them?  That book room I was talking about, I would actually fill them with instruments myself, so I don't think that is weird at all!

The only ones I have *really* played have been the trumpets, bassoon, and oboe. Clarinet and tenor saxophone a little bit, too.

All of the brass except for the trumpets I got last year, and the bass clarinet I also got last year. I intended on having fun attempting to learn these last year, but that's when I got inspired to finally learn the oboe (which I've had for nearly a few years), and I started taking lessons and it became my main instrument. As much as I want to be a multi-instrumentalist, my brain only seems to take in one instrument at a time. D:

I collect Monster High Dolls, Lego: Bionicles and Star Wars figures (mostly clones and variants of such). I don't have good pictures that are current, as my collection of clones has since grown to over one hundred figures in technically five different scales. I also have a small collect of dragon figures from How to Train your Dragon (1 and 2). Oh, forgot to mention Breyer model horses and McFarlane Dragons.

I collect all things Sailor Moon, Madoka Magica, One Piece (mostly Tony Tony Chopper), a lot of Nintendo properties (Yoshi and Kirby, specifically), Amiibos, Tokidoki Unicornos, Funko POP! figures, Zelfs, Num Noms, Lalaloopsy ponies, a small tsum tsum collection, Eeyore, Snoopy and Woodstock, Alpacasso, and then there's my Pokemon plush, cards and figure collection which takes up part of my living room.

I also just recently got into collecting cute enamel pins.

I'm trying really hard not to get into collecting anything else right now because I'm pretty sure I'm driving my husband crazy. I'll post pictures whenever I have time to take them!

Ooooooh my gosh, I almost forgot about my ridiculous collection of mugs! I like to get those "you are here" mugs from Starbucks whenever we travel, and I also have other neat mugs.

I don't have any current photos unfortunately.. but I collect a lot of things I like to call myself a "collector of collections". Let's see.. I collect dolls (Monster High, Catwalk Kitties, Novi Stars, Pinkie Cooper, various anime/Japanese dolls), Tsum Tsums, Sylvanian Families, YooHoo and Friends (on and off), Ojamajo Doremi merch, anime figures (I probably have enough of these to count them ), Beanie Babies.. I think that's everything! I'll have to get a photo of everything sometime.
