Strangest place you've FOUND a pony in the wild?

Inspired by the other thread going on, and those of years past, where is the strangest place you've found a pony in the wild?
Mine would have to be when I was in middle school. It would have been around the start of FIM, and my math teacher had a G1 parasol plush on his filing cabinet. Mind you, it had a haircut, a spiked dog collar, and numerous stains, but it was legit. Turns out some students threw it on top of the portables and he rescued it.

Its not particularly weird for most people, but the strangest place I've found ponies was my own toybox from childhood! Apparently I had some McDonald's ponies I didn't remember at all. I remembered a few when I saw them again but I had no idea they were MLP.

We have found a G3 Breezie pony buried in the sand at the beach before.  I was really surprised to dig that up!

So far mine has to be todays addition!

Hubby and I had gone to a fancy rat show in a quiet country village.  I'd popped to the shop and saw a lady putting up signs advertising a yard sale.

Turns out it was just up the road so I had a walk up, not expecting to find anything and I was delighted to find a plush G3 Fluttershy for the bargain price of 50p!

My dad found some G1 ponies for me at a car swap meet back in January, and at that same swap meet last year, i found a Megan doll.

I don't know if it counts, but I remember going to an interview at a shop that worked with industrial gearboxes, and I saw a McDs Rarity hanging from the rear view mirror of a truck.  Did not expect to see a pony there.

This happened to me too! When I went to rescue my childhood ponies from their cardboard box at my parents' house I found Lemon Drop in there. No idea where she came from, don't remember ever getting her, but there she was!

Sounds like something I would have in my classroom. The students know I love unicorns and such and give me unicorn figures all the time. I've never brought a pony there because I wouldn't want t damaged. I wouldn't be against having one there though.

In the middle of the city center, there is this closet where people can put stuff in that they don't want anymore, for other people to pick up for free. There are usually blankets, old books, old toys, old shoes etc. But I walked by and found a TAF Night Glider G1! She was all dirty and her tail had been cut short. It was just so sad, I had to take her home. I gave her a bath and she smells nice now. Not sure if I should fix her tail. I might just keep her like this because it makes her special.

Well does my forehead count?Because a little girl threw her mcdonalds pinkie pie at me once.And it's not the worse... she threw her dolls at me, and even a stapler.Yes you've read right, she threw a stapler at me.Pinkie was nothing because a monster high lagoona went right near my eye.Result : a one of the glass from my eyeglasses was broken.And the best is that i still managed to save this pinkie.

A few G1's in an antique store including Baby Moondancer (you know you're getting old when your childhood toys start appearing there ).
