Italy / Starlight Baby hair length question
« on: May 27, 2016, 12:50:07 PM »
Hello all,

I recently bought these two in a lot. The seller described them as with uncut hair but when they arrived, their hair did seem cut to me.
Italian Trickles' mane is a step shorter to the end, which I only know from Greeks, but italian, too?

Also, Starlight Baby Stella's hair is a lot shorter than mine. Both Stella and Trickles' hair looks choppy to the areas which I suspect to be cut. I asked the seller but she still insists their hair is uncut and that for Baby Stella, it would only be different versions (they both are from China).
Is there anyone here who can say more about this?

They both look cut to me. There are a ton of variants on the starlight babies, but I don't remember any of them having hair that, when you pull it out straight, doesn't touch the hooves.

I will have a look at my Italian Trickles for you.

I do know my tropical hair Starshine has a shorter neon yellow stripe, I always thought it was a trim.

I'm not sure on the Starlight baby

The Starlight Baby looks cut to me.

Italian Trickles, I'm not so sure.  To me it looks more like something that happened in the factory.

I checked ALL my Italian ponies. They all have equal mane length all the way down their manes, expect for my to CP head Seashell's. They both have a step at the end of their manes, just like your Trickles.

I've discounted my tropical hair Starshine as her neon yellow stripe does seem cut to me.

Thank you PKW for the effort looking through all your italians, it is highly appreciated. Also thanks to the others who replied so far, although I'm still not convinced yet in either way. If there's anyone else who can give some more information, it would still help... :)
