Blasted anatomically-incorrect body parts being animated and chasing after you.  It always ruins your day.

Interesting we don't see the front of the heart.  I wonder if it has a face and what kind of face.  Maybe a pair of beady, glowing eyes and a broad grin filled with needle-like teeth drenched in pony blood.

They had really powerful drugs in the 80s, didn't they?

Context is for the weak.

Actually- the vintage MLP comics kindof just jump around and do completely random stuff like that with little or no explanation.  The utter seemingly drug-induced nonsense of the comics is really part of their charm.

Hrm, I wouldn't say that the whole of the old comic was just random nonsense where cartoon body parts chase ponies. But then again, there's Shady's glasses...so maybe I'm wrong ;)

I love the comics for things like this though :D. Let's not forget this is the same ponyland in which baby ponies are born from mirrors and Newborn Twins come from being sketched by Baby Lucky and Spike on (I think?) Friday 13th...(certainly they were drawings and they came to life from baby Lucky's magic).

So bringing things to life from nothing is kind of a theme xd.

One of my favourite weird comic explanations is for Confetti's wedding dress. Bearing in mind Hasbro made a bride for whom there is no groom...no male pony at all, in fact. Apparently in some random fairy kingdom it's a custom to give bridal outfits to random party guests:

Maybe is a way to wishing mirth and fertility to the departing guest.  Or they needed some explanation for a pony in a wedding dress.

Pretty sure the other side of that heart has the face of Tim Curry as Pennywise the Clown... (Like Al-1701 was describing.)
