I've never seen any G2 armies before. That's really neat! I love the custom Sweet Tooth in the front on the left. GORGEOUS!

I don't have any armies, but I do have a few questions about them

1-What is the thought process behind having an army of one pony (especially ones that don't have a lot of releases)?

2-Do people with armies ever sell one or two to somebody else (A "Well they've been trying to get this pony for ages and I have 20 of it" sort of thing)

I don't have an army yet, and my idea of an army is probably not the same as everyone else's, but I'm going to answer for me. I want every release of Lemon Drop that I can find. I want the US, Greek, etc. I don't need 300 US released Lemon Drops, I just one one of every different kind. YKWIM? I just love her.

I had an army of G1 Night Glider because I absolutely love her. In the end, I sold off two of the extras I had. The first one I sold was due to needing the extra money, and she was going for a pretty high price at the time. The second one I sold because she was in great condition and I had found someone who had been searching for her for a while. As of now, I no longer have a Night Glider army... I'm just down to one, which was a gift from my husband. And I'm okay with that.

I am going to try for an army of G1 Moonstone, since I have her US and German variants, and I know there are several others. I just need one of each variant though, no doubles.

I do have an army of G4 Rainbow Dash, though. I will buy literally every release of her. I really ought to get everything in one picture sometime soon.

I'm not really sure how Twilight became my army pony but I think it might have something to do with when I couldn't decide on a pony for an adoptable I'd request Twilight and the more adoptable a I got of her the more I liked her. She was also one of the first ponies I bought when I got back into ponies. I also thought Hasbro should have given her a baby so I commissioned a Baby Twilight. I'd love to add some merchandise featuring Twilight but I don't have any yet.
