Anyone made a backpack for ponies?

I need a backpack that will fit my G1 Baby Blossom, but am not crafty enough to make one myself. Looking for something like what you would take on vacation or hiking, kinda like this:

Has anyone made something like this small enough for a G1 baby? I've scoured the net but haven't really found anything that would work. Help??

have you checked Ebay? Might be able to find a keychain backpack.

Check on Etsy - it's all handmade items. Someone has likely made a backpack for a doll, probably there's a size that would fit a pony.

Yeah, I tried looking at keychain backpacks on ebay and they all seem too big. Might work for an adult G1 but not a baby.  Same with Etsy. And the one perfect one I saw on alibaba is no longer available.

Okay, I did a bit of research, and G1 babys should be about the same size as standard G4s, just a bit wider, right? (I'm sadly still lacking any G1 ponies, so I can't check )

First of all, sorry for the bad quality of the pictures, my usual camera is currently not working, so I had to use my smart phone. The weird spots are glue-residue, from where I tried to glue the closing mechanisms on(which is the part that took me the longest).

As you can see, the backpack fits the G4 Rarity pretty well, but it can be scaled up. If this is what you're looking for, I can make some patterns and a quick tutorial, if you'd like.

Yeah something like that, but I think with shoulder straps that are somehow removeable so I can get it on and off. Not sure I belly strap would keep it on. But if you could send me a pattern that would be at least a starting point for me! Thank you!

Wow, that tape backpack is super cute. How would you find a baggie small enough...? Hm. *thinks because considering making one lol*

I'm actually in the process of making a small outfit for a G4 pony, and am going to make a shoulder backpack type thing. I'll let you know how it goes.

I couldn't find a bag small enough so I ended up using one of those plastic page protectors cut out and taped together to form a box. Just trying to figure out the straps now. Was originally going to use velco under the bag and on the end of the straps but it's making it too bulky. I think I have a solution, but we'll see if it works. And I found really cute tape to cover it with....it's all kinds of sort of immigration/passport stamp pattern...perfect for a traveller! LOL Will post pics when I figure out the straps!

Oh how cute!! I just finished mine as well! Ended up using shoelaces for the straps and making tiny little sliders out of beading wire so they can be undone.
