Parasol has the peach hair stripe rather than the more reddish colour that Starshine and Skydancer have. I don't think I've ever seen her with the red.

Hhm, is there any difference in value between the different types of rainbow hair on Italians?

The tropical coloured Parasol is more common than the regular haired Parasol (this is what I find, thought others find it the other way round!)

Tropical Parasol $10-12
Regular Parasol $18-20

Her price does vary according to how pink she is, as she does tend to fade

I would tend to agree with you that she turns up more with the second rainbow set colours...since I thought that was just what she always has!

It's funny as Starshine in the tropical colours is so much harder to find.

It does seem she got a couple of releases and was released with the second set rainbow ponies as well as the first set rainbow ponies.
