Most valuable country?

Is there a country that's more valuable than others (besides SA!  )

For instance, would Brazilian ponies be more valuable than Argentina? Or Mexican more valuable than France?

Or does the value depend on the individual pony?

Also, where do prototype and alternate Birthflower ponies stand as far as rarity/being sought after?

Japan and south africa are the two priciest countries to acquire.
As for the other countries it depends on which pony is being sold.
There are several super sought after ponies from each country but only a few countries have an overall pricey factor. Thailand is also another valuable country.  If properly identified thai ponies can sell for quite a lot. I believe only 8 have ever been found. Protoypes are pricey too because most are one offs and they are extremely rare. Hasbro destroyed most of their prototypes so what remains is somewhat of a miracle.  It depends whose looking and the current value is usually not recorded because most are private sales. I would not consider alternate birthflowers to be pricey. They usually range about $300 each.

Ember1 is correct; Japan, South Africa and Thailand are the countries with the most valuable/expensive ponies .

However each country seem to have one or two ponies that are very valuable/expensive

Prototypes are VERY tricky to price since they are very hard to find indeed. Many will have been binned once they were no longer needed.

The alternate Birthflowers vary between $150-400 depending on the pony and condition. There are two versions of Holly and one is harder to find and so will go for more.

I agree with the others. Colombian adults in my opinion would come i  second behind japan and south africa all nice adults seem to sell in the hundreds, then maybe vennies adults, follwed by greek poniesthen spain?. Brazil, argentina, france etc have a handful of pricey ponies but lots of cheaper ponies too

I think Indian would be just before Greece though? They tend to fetch between $350-500 I think

Oh i forgot the indians yes your right i fully agree with that pkw, although on a side note there prices are dropping alot, a handful have just sold for less than $200

Yep or alot have just come up for sale all at once i know of at least 8 but over the last 4-6 months seen 12 or so. I was lucky to pick one up for very cheap $70 ish us with no flaws. A kiwi found her in a second hand store in nz

I adore the Columbian ponies! I also have a new found love for Dutch ponies at the moment too, although I know they're not pricey compared to India or South Africa!

My new 'want' is currently French Bow Tie (white hair). I just love her mixture of colours!

Nirvana's are quickly becoming my overall favourites, simply because I'm discovering new ones all the time and they're just so beautiful! No wonder they cost a bit!

Not all nirvana ponies are expensive many can be picked up for $30 or less some can even be found for $10-12

Nirvana doesn't always mean awfully expensive
