Variant flutters?
« on: April 15, 2016, 11:05:57 AM »
Hey :) I read somewhere that some flutter ponies are "UK variants"?
How can one say if they are variants or not?
Pose?
Markings on feet?

Thanks :)

It is more the fact they look strange!

They are often missing the wing holder and have mismatched manes and tails :) some have no manes at all.... not even plug holes.

Yup, the UK variant ones appear to be related to the Princess and Happy Tail weirdos which basically look like factory rejects!

These are really cool.  I'd love to find a few of these :)

*edit* How is it possible to tell if it is a variant or if it just lost the wing holder?  I saw a picture of someone selling one but they said the clip has been lost.

I have been wondering the same thing

With come it is pretty obvious as they have mismatched manes and tails, but I think with others it is more tricky as they just look normal. I think we can only be 100% sure if they are the MIB, unless someone has a loose one and can tell us of any other differences?

Hahaha I love the ones with no manes. Hopefully one will find its way into my collection someday.

Any more info (maybe a side by side comparison) would be great for future reference!
