Hey all!
I'm a web designer and looking for work (preferably within an established design firm, but any promise of ongoing work is good!)
Recently I've been working on refreshing my online presence. And my portfolio has two versions:
One is a bit more quirky/creative (also, it looks better on desktop):
http://heylouise.spacePros: It stands out and looks clever!
Cons: Works ok on mobile, but not great. Also, people might feel weird about the ".space". (I'm told that the traditional ".com" inspires more credibility.)
Version two is more generic (also, it functions better on mobile):
http://louisekdesign.comPros: May, appeals to a wider audience; less artsy type people. (Also the ".com" feels more familiar.) Works better on mobile/tablet.
Cons: It looks plain.
Thoughts/input?

Update: http://louisekdesign.com now has a design that is a mix of the two previous ones. 'heylouise' will be re-purposed into a slightly different website.
