How does Old Apoxie hold up? Experiences? Photos?
« on: April 05, 2016, 06:07:40 PM »
Hi All,
I'm looking at doing some sculpting, and like anyone, I want it to last to last a long time.

I was wondering if anyone has any old (10 years +) work done in apoxie sculpt and can tell us how it's held up?
Has it cracked, yellowed, flaked, crumbled to dust or is it just as it was when you first sculpted it?

I'm specifically after Apoxie sculpt, but if you have similar materials you'd like to discuss or share please do!

It doesnt have to be pony related.

Cheers :)

I know I've done some Sculpey Clay (I know it's not the same, I've never even touched Apoxie Sculpt) and some of the adorable things my nephews made 10+ years ago are still just fine. Dusty, and some small pieces have broken off in transit, but the clay is the same as  the day it was baked.

I'm sure you'll get some good answers!
Thanks so much to Calico_Star for her beautiful work on my Avatar!

All the items I have made with Apoxie sculpt during the six or seven years I have used it have held up fine. I can't find any changes in them. :)
