Sailor Moon: Crystal Season 3 and general SM discussion!

Oh man I can't believe they're on Season 3 already and I haven't even finished Season 1!! Got some catching up to do!

I'm. So. Happy.

I love the new art style. I loved the old one too, as I'm a HUGE fan of the manga and I felt seasons 1 and 2 were really faithful to the material and art. I kinda wish they would have stuck with it and just put more money/time/effort into that style. However, I'm over the moon regardless. Infinity is my favorite arc followed closely by stars. I hope we get the next two arcs as well! I would love to see animated versions of the sailor quartet and the animates who never got released with the classic anime like Lethe and Mnemosyne!

Loved the episode.... but Jupiter's new attack name made me laugh. "Coconut".... seriously? Of all the words you could use for ball lightning.... they went with coconut. The Japanese sure are weird.

I also liked seasons 1 and 2 for staying close to their source material. Even if the animation was wonky at times, and the CGI transformation scenes were terrible. It was still watchable, imo.

I know we're at least getting two more seasons (counting the current one), not sure if that'll span one arc or what, but that's what I read! I do hope we get the next two arcs, too.

I've been watching this non stop this past weekend on hulu and loved it!! I like the music played during the transformation scenes way more than the original series and it brings back all sorts of nostalgic memories! ! Also, I'm now obsessed with getting all the kitty cat plush bc Luna, Artemis and Diana are amazing!!!

Finally got around to seeing the first two episodes of Crystal Season 3, and I quite like the changes.

And goodness, I have replayed the OP and ED songs too many times to count. xD I like both songs much more than the previous Crystal ones.

Moon Pride was my jam, but I love the new opening and closing songs! My husband and I watched the second episode last night and aaahhh... I'm so glad these are coming out on a weekly basis, I don't think I could take having to wait any longer!

Also, the pastel and white Sailor Moon purse I've been wanting is up on Hot Topic's website, plus it's on sale, so I ordered it (with some other stuff)!

I also want to order one of these. Possibly the Sailor Mars one to match my wallet.

$39.99 on eBay. They're normally super expensive since they're another Samantha Vega collab. I have the cheap version of the Luna purse from last year and it's perfect, so I've been waiting for the cheap versions of these new ones.
