Green Minty with pink hair?

Never heard of this one!

I know of an Italian variant, with a yellow body and pink hair.

But is there a version of a green Minty with pink hair? Can't seem to find any reference to it?

The only green Minty with pink hair I know of would be G3 or G4 Minty. If there is one from G1 I would be very interested in seeing it.

I have been a my little pony collector since 2007 and I have never heard of that variant either! I honestly think there is no italian minty with pink hair but correct me if I am wrong.

Sorry it took so long!
If it's not an original, the only thing I can think is it's been rehaired (or the original white hair was dyed)...

I would think either rehaired, or possibly even coloured in with a highlighter or dyed? Doesn't look entirely consistent through the hair.

Take away her head and look if her Mane has a factory rooted weave! That would be the best way to find out if she is a custom or not. I think she is a custom, her pink hair looks weird with that green body in combination.

Sadly, it's not mine, it's one that I've found advertised.

I bet it's probably dyed or something too. It's pretty but why would you want to mess with Minty? 

Just wanted to check it was/wasn't worth the high price they are asking (around $300).

Looks like a dye job to me. Possibly whoever did it either thought it had faded and was supposed to be pink like G3&4 Minty's or hoped that other people would believe it was legit. I'd much rather give people the benefit of a doubt but with the price I wonder if it's someone trying to pass her off as a 'rare' variant'.

Looks like dye to me too - fading usually happens at the ends first, or universally, unless it was under something with the roots exposed, but then it wouldn't have 'stripes'. It is a really weird pony. She just looks like a big-symbol Italian with dyed/coloured hair to me!

My daughter has a lot of Minty's and it looks like it has been coloured in to me as well. It looks like the hair is original - but definitely coloured in.

I certainly wouldn't pay $300 to find out

It almost looks like someone's been trying to give her pink stripes, a la g3 Minty. I think she looks pretty with that colour, but as SaveThePonies said, there's no way I'd pay $300 for her.

*giggle* This is what I was thinking! That they were trying to give her hair colour like G3 Minty!

She has pink stains all over, further confirming the coloured marker. Cute, but not a genuine factory variant.
