The other day I found a pretty dirty Baby Milkweed at a thrift store. I'm really happy with how well she cleaned up (though I bungled her mane curl, as I am known to do).

Thanks! the toothbrush I use for pony cleaning got a real workout with this one.  :lol:

That is a great job, buttonso.  Looks as good as new! I love seeing amazing cleanup/restoration jobs 


A couple of years ago I scored a super dirty My Pretty Pony off eBay for dirt cheap,  complete with cropped tail and mohawk.  Hair was matted and dirty, but everything worked inside. Thought I'd give her a new life.  Completely disassembled her, cleaned her and rehaired with dollyhair.  I was super pleased with the way she turned out.

Cleaned up a Posey with pretty awful pindot not too long ago.  I'm very pleased with the result (per her owner she wasn't re-pinked or re-haired).

Thanks! I have two more in worse shape (bad paint, rubs).  Thinking of making them inot G1 earth pony customs...



And Featherwurm, I love that Posey.  She's such a pretty pony. Pindot removal is definitely no fun at all! But we'll worth the work!

Thanks! I used RIT dye and it was a pain in the butt. She just wouldn't take the colour if I stopped the water from boiling so I finally had to leave her boiling for a while with the dye in and that seemed to work. A bit darker than I was going for, but way better than she looked before!
