Wind Drifter and the Mysterious Board Game
« on: March 22, 2016, 09:33:26 AM »
Sooo I'm visiting toy stores in my holidays and I came across a G3 pony who was included in some... thing...?

Said pony was Wind Drifter, but what is the thing she is attached to? The My Little Wiki page doesn't mention that she was included to something (PC game, board game? I couldn't take a closer look), and she costs like 26 dollars, isn't that too expensive for a single pony?

She came with a board game.   :)  The tin version came with one pony, although you could choose from several ponies and was available at Kohls in the US, and at least Boots overseas.  Regular cardboard boxed games were available without the tin or pony too. visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Ooooh I see, it was a board game indeed! Does someone have more photos or instructions? How do you play this game?

I found that pony with the butterfly on her butt at a thrift market in a bag of other g3s! I had no idea she was with a board game.

She's really a very lovely little pony, and a nice find in a thrift store PJSparkles.   ^.^

She didn't just come with the board game though.  She also came as an individual pony.  I don't see any differences between the three I have (open, tin game and single).

As far as value......  I'm too far out of the pricing game to make a truly good guess, but very, very few of the G3s are super-sought-after, and while Wind Drifter is a gorgeous little girl, she was not hard to get.  On simply a guess, I'd say $5-8.00 is probably about a decent open-pony price range if her little butterfly isn't too damaged.
