yeah, I'm all over the place at the moment.  Last year I was in San Diego for about 6 months, New York for one month, Australia for 2 months, and Germany for 3 months.  I was even in Canada for a week and back in China for two weeks.  But I'll be in England all this year, except for maybe a few short trips to france or italy or something like that if I can swing it.

So jealous of all your world traveling! I've only been to the U.S. and Mexico.

Hawaii is the one state in the USA that I have yet to get to. I lived in Alaska for 12 years but never bothered to visit Hawaii.

I will as soon as I can.  I'm really sad we couldn't get it to work as a stop on the way to Australia, but the flights went from being just. Tiny bit more expensive when we first looked to thousands more. 

I have loved Germany best too.  It's been the best place I've been I think.

My sister was supposed go visit Hawaii this summer because her friends husband is stationed there. They are having marriage issues and separated so no traveling for my sister.

Home made treats are totally fine, so long as they are packed in such a way that they aren't going to get crushed and make a mess. It may also be worth considering whether we live close or not--home made goodies can have a very different shelf life then store bought ones.
