PC on Perfume Puffs?

Forgive a newer collector, but when I first saw these ponies I though something went horribly wrong with their hair.

And then I realized they were meant to be that way ^^

So out of curiosity, how much do the PPs go for? I would love to own them eventually, but I know they can fetch a pretty penny.

I'm interested to see what people say about this, I'd like to know as well!
I am fairly new myself to collecting, and these were the first set I tried to complete, however Red Roses (the yellow unicorn) is one I've seen go for anywhere from $80-$120; so she still evades me.
I got the other five in an auction for about $40, so I'm at a loss as far as what they are worth individually.

Red Roses - $70 (assuming hair still pink)
Lavender Lace - $16-18
Daisy Sweet - $14-15 (assuming yellow hair version)
Dainty Dahlia - $20 (assuming hair still pink and body not faded)

Why is it that Red Roses is so much higher than everyone else?
 I feel like the ponies I am always the most attracted to are always the ones that are so ridiculously priced
 

But that's probably the reason, everyone else is attracted to them as well

So true! They used to be a set a lot of people wanted to skip over.

Unfortunately you just get ponies who are more sought after than their set colleagues and for no other reason are more pricey. Red Roses, Diamond Dreams, Lemon Treats, Mimic and so on.

@Hathorcat - how does white hair from manufacture impact on Daisy Sweet's price? (as opposed to faded from gold of course...)

I think Red Roses' price is insane, honestly. I have no clue why it got like that, or how, except that it's the curse of the yellow pony striking again...

My Dainty Dahlia is faded to grey, but I honestly love her more for it. Grey is my favorite color, and grey colored ponies are practically non existent.

I wonder if someone's sheer desperation for Red Roses is what boosted her price so much. Which is sad, because I am almost desperate for her as well! But it makes me cringe to think of spending over $50 on a pony e_e

Her white hair version tends to run higher...so long as its certainly that rather than fading of course
