So much cheaper than the supermarket!

I'm not advocating anything but considered use because they are an abrasive, however the cost of restoration supplies does add up

I get tons of generic ones at the dollar store and then cut them into smaller shapes.  Same thing, different package, WAY different price!

yep yep! I actually found some in a dollar store as well while looking for pony cleaning supplies.

Toward the end of last year, my two sponges saw better days, so now I'm on the hunt for some new ones.. This is fantastic!!


Did y'all know that you can use them on cars? Yeah, on the package it says not the use on cars, but it works to remove car paint off your car... Say you bumped someone's car in a parking lot, or a car hit your car in a lot, and left behind paint.. a moist swipe and ta-da the other paint is gone! Obviously you don't want to wipe it too much or else it would probably start damaging the car paint you don't want to mess with! (lol) but it does work... Someone in a red vehicle hit my car in the work parking lot once and I was wondering how to take the red paint off my car.. lo and behold, I stumble across an internet message board about the magic erasers and folks were talking about how it removes paint.. hehe.. You're welcome!

Before Flash came out with their branded product over here, the pound shop or any discount retailer was the best place to track down a magic eraser. Always super cheap and fundamentally the same thing. Now I do prefer the more premium product as I find it a little less course but at the end of the day they all do the same thing.
