Alternate G3 January Carnation with pics this time:)

Hi, a while ago I posted about G3 January carnation. Before it was released in stores , a seller had January, February and March available on eBay. I really wanted these and caved in and bought one.. January carnation for 40$. He had only one of each in stock. After a month or so I received it. Then not long after that the whole line up was available in stores. I bought all the rest of the collection for a more decent regular store price and when I came home I noticed something weird about the January carnation that I had bought in eBay. It's not the same colour!!! On her back card she is white but mint in box she is pink!!!  So a few months ago I posted this message and people asked for pictures but she was in one of my too many boxes of ponies and today I found my picture from 2006 and here they are. Anyone else has the pink version???

I find her prettier in her white general release version. But I love my pink one:)

I think I remember you getting this girl When she popped up on ebay with some of the other birthflowers, I think it was the first we had seen the releases. Thank you so much for sharing your picture of her - she certainly is a special pony!

I went back in my emails and found the winning email for this girl in  July 2006, I was sure I paid 40$ for her but it turns out it was 18,99usd not bad

One of my german ponyfriends has her too, I think she also bought it from a chinese seller back then. And I am still after this one

The pink one is beautiful! I think they should have stuck with that color for the store release.

How gorgeous!  Are the rest of the set also the same colours as the G1 alt birthflowers?  I had no idea these existed!!

When I bought it there was only Jan feb and March available. Only January turned out to be different in the final release...

I've been trying to find out if the 'First 50' version of April was any different than the actual store release one, I seem to remember it being different colors too!

No, it's just a coincidence that Carnation has the same colors in G1 and G3.    It's a really pretty set, sadly I only have two ponies from it, I think.
