Sweet Valley books
« on: February 20, 2016, 01:28:43 PM »
I loved these books going up! I have picked up some of these books again. I think my favorites are all of the super specials. One day I need to find book 100 and 101 again. They were the super thriller of the evil twin! I also loved the Hawaiian super special, the necklace thriller,, and all the Christmas specials. I hope to one day read through all the sweet valley twin/friends series, the sweet valley high series, and the sweet valley university series. They are fun short reads. Anybody else collect these books or have fond memories of them?

Not sure how many collections were made but there seems to be quite a few.
Sweet Valley Kids
Sweet Valley Twins
Sweet Valley Twins and Friends
Sweet Valley High
Sweet Valley Senior Year
Sweet Valley University

Did I miss any? ^.^
I actually have 16 SVH Senior Year books to sell if anyone is intetested. (5, 22, 23, 24, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41). I also have 5 sweet valley kids books to sell (1, 2, 3, super special 2, super snooper 4). Pm me if interested.

I was a huge fan of Sweet Valley Kids, Twins and High. Two of my favorites was when they went to Hawaii and when they had to deal with a ghost.

I also loved Sweet Valley Twins :) I had several of them growing up and bought a bunch of them about a year or two ago. I'd like to have most of the twins series and maybe a few more of the Sweet Valley Kids series.

I loved those books as a kid! Me and my sister had a bunch (I still have mine) and then our neighbour had some so we borrowed from her. Also, they were the best thing to read while I was at university and needed time off from studying.

I never read these (I was in the Babysitter's Club camp), but I had friends who did. I kinda feel like I really missed out, because I don't have any nostalgia reasons to read them now, but there was a whole phenomena there that I wasn't a part of and that people talk about from time to time now.

I collect them :-) and love them dearly. That, and ponies, is the only things I collect.
I love and hate them equally with a passion :-)

Sweet valley high is my favorite. You should read the newly written Sweet valley confidential, and The sweet life. It´s sequels about the adult twins. Very entertaining :-)

I read High and Twins and the early SVU books when I was in school. Now, my ponies live on top of some of them, actually - I use them to create steps in the cupboard on the upper shelves xD.

I think the rest are in the garage. We had a second hand book seller near where I live for a long time when I was in my early teens and he used to get tons of second hand SVH books that were no longer in print here. So I'd go there with my money every so often and bring home six or seven at a time. I had most of them up to the point I stopped reading, but no idea how many there were beyond that.

I stopped reading maybe when I was 14, and discovered Point Horror...

I loved these books when I was growing up! I only had a few of them but was lucky that libraries nearby kept a large stock.
I would love to some time read through some of them just for nostalgia's sake.
