I'm going to be 32 next month and look probably about half that but I've long since stopped caring about my pony collecting habits. I'm also into Monster High and Ever After High and I have a many other toys and stuff animals in my room. I live at home still, but every now and then I still get grief (usually from my Mom) about me being and adult and buying "toys" in her words. She says I've wasted so much money on them and she even said how much money I have in them. I guess she thinks I should sell my collection. I actually commissioned someone for a 3ft Majesty plush. She had a pattern ready and her Mom was going to help her. She required a deposit up front and as part of the payment she let me trade her some ponies and the rest was cash. I sent her the ponies, about two large envelopes full (probably about 10 - 20 ponies) and she told me to wait on the rest to make sure I was satisfied. So, I guess she gets depressed on and off and she eventually fell out of love for ponies and never made the plush. This happened over a period of time and I was so disappointed. I wanted this plush so much and was so excited. She never sent me my ponies back either. I planned on paying for the plush to be shipped to me stuffed since I don't sew it would be a pain for me to restuff and resew it.She was a member here by the name Pony Empress. I guess she got teased a lot, even from members here about her being overweight and that didn't help with her depression.Anyway, there are tons of people here who make great plushies and you could probably find someone to make you a life-sized custom Luna. Luna is one of my favorites and I'd like to sees pics of the final product one day.

If you weren't so positive about her character/reasons, I'd say it sounded like a scamOn topic:I'm sure most if not all of that plushie maker's customer's are adults/teens xD I doubt too many parents are buying expensive handmade collectibles for their kiddies. There is nothing wrong with collecting things that make you happy, even if you are out of the target audience for whatever reason. Adults have been collecting toys, dolls, plush animals, figurines, etc... for centuries
