Now that Hasbro has the deal with Disney to make their dolls, how likely is it that MLP will show up in Toy Story 4?

Barbie showed up while Mattel was making Disney's dolls.  So is there a larger chance that Hasbro properties will show up in the upcoming Toy Story movie?

I'd be so excited if there was an MLP character regardless of generation.  But even more excited if it was a G1!

Now that I think about it, there was a transformer in Toy Story of Terror. But it wasn't named as such.

I wouldn't count on it honestly. I don't think just because they have the Princess license now means that something mlp could end up in a Toy Story movie. Not saying it wouldn't be great, but I do think it's a shot in the dark.

Remember that Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head are main characters, and they're pretty much the mascots of Hasbro.  And while the Disney Princess line is now licensed out to Hasbro, Pixar's Cars are still licensed to Mattel.

What name brand toys show up in the Toy Story movies is completely up to the creative staff.  Licensing has nothing to do with it beyond getting the okay from the companies owning the trademarks and copyrights.  It's like with Wreck-It Ralph which used characters from several companies.

I'd love it if a MLP showed up in Toy Story!

I remember in the first movie they couldn't get approval for G.I. Joe (as the unfortunate toy Sid blew up) so they called him a "Combat Carl."  I'll bet they regret passing up that opportunity now, lol.

I don't think just because Hasbro has licencing to do Disney Princess that would affect what toys are in the Toy Story Movies..

Mr. Potato Head is Playskool/Hasbro
Barbie is Mattel
Etch (the Etch A Sketch) is Spin Master

Just to name a few.. There are too many background toys from all 3 films to list and figure out who belongs were  but I'm pretty sure that each appearance doesn't depend on who has licencing for what toy lines Disney wants.. Or else we probably would have seen MLP in one of those movies by now
