MoonbeamStar you've said what I've been thinking a lot better than I could. Hasbro's target audience has always been children. And while I can't speak for kids today. I know as a child I would have loved these. Probably even more than the brushables.

I've brushed my ponies hair more as an adult than I ever did as a kid. It wasn't what drew me into MLP then. I've always been more attracted by the fantasy adventure aspect than being able to comb and style my toys hair.

As to the angry expressions some of the characters have. It doesn't bother me. Half the TMNT toys I had as a kid had scowls or grimaces. As a kid the molded facial expression didn't really effect what emotion I was making believe that given character had. I like that they are branching out with different facial expressions. It gives some more variety.

I  think this line is the best chance we have at seeing more boys being made. *crosses fingers for Big Mac* And with molded manes we don't have to worry about that horrible troll hair.

They look pretty cool, but they're not for me. I pretty much require my ponies to have brushable hair. Although I might get Celestia and Luna because they look like they could pass as home decor.

But seriously, now here are some articulated ponies I like! The necks are a bit tall, but it's pretty fitting for the character models.

I hope they do more than one release of these if they sell well enough.  I really want to see one of Maud, especially if they give her the Pickelhaube she had back in Season 4.

These are a pretty neat extension! I want limestone!

I'm hoping we get more brushables too! But as an extension, these are super neat! That spike dragon is cool and looks huge! I also love nightmare moon!

Hmm. These are interesting. Tbh, this is something I would not have wanted as a little girl (and ponies were my life back then) but to each their own. Not bashing whatsoever.  I do like the changeling, but only because it's the only figure of one so far and I think it would look good with my brushable chrissy. We'll see what the final product looks like I suppose.

At first I read this as mlp guardians of the galaxy lol.
