WIP: G1 to G4 Surprise (Styling type size) UPDATED

I have an unhealthy obession with Surprise, the G1 pony.

So i decided to malke a "giant one" after receiveing a ratty Styling size Rainbow Dash in a trade (we can't find any "oversized ponies here :( )

Here she is, after my boyfriend re-rooted her (thank you sweetie) and i put several layers of white paint on her (not completely finished yet).

I need advice though about her symbol.

I know G1 Surprise has 5 glittery balloons, but i'm afraid that, as her bum is a LOT smaller than the G1's butt, it'll look too "cluttered".
So i checked and "modern" FiM Surprise only has 3 of them..

What you think?

I am also wondering where to find the glitter for the balloons...

Looking great so far!

If you do the balloons big, just 3, if you do them smaller I think you could do 5 without a problem.

Try your local craft store. Michaels and Hobby Lobby both have micro glitter that, when mixed with a gloss sealant especially, is great for symbols.
