I would probably buy at least Firefly though, her wings seem to balance out the big head a little better to me

Look like Pashmina but with a green scarf Oxnard was white-ish with grey-ish spots

Back on topic, I don't mind that these are blind boxes, I would not mind getting them all!

Alright, I did it.  Went and found their Facebook page and thanked them for the G1 love then commented about the symbols, wrong coloring, etc.

I sure hope they adjust the colors for the ponies, though. It'd be nice to have a white Glory! Though I would still like purple Glory, she could chill with the green-scarfed hamster lol.

I went back and talked to them today and brought some of your questions.

-Figures are blind boxed
-There are not yet revealed special chase figures
- if you purchase a case you should be able to get all the figures (16 to a case)
- Will be sold through the usual retailers such as Target, Hot Topic and Barns and Noble
- The characters that were chosen were popular in the universe and picked based on the stories they can tell and their unique character statements
- There will be more, support the release
- The choice to make them articulated is for play and to tell stories (pose and photograph them etc)
- July 1st is approximate release (not spring)
- Colors and hair shapes are not final at all..,, they are still working on the pieces
they want to make collectors happy so please let them know ^,^

Chase figures are like the funko glitter ponies, or the mystery mini store exclusives it's basically one that not as many are made or are limited figures and are harder to find.

Basically its called a "chase figure" because its a chase to get them because they are hard to find.

If Big Bad Toy Store carries these, they usually have two options:  you can buy unopened blind boxes from them where you don't know what figure you'll get, OR you can buy specific characters where they've opened them to take a peek inside.

However, if you opt for the "buy specific characters" route the commons will cost a few dollars extra and the chase figures will cost quite a lot extra.

I figure I'll buy about three or four blind boxes, hoping I don't get duplicates, then buy the specific ponies I still need.

Neat!! they look mush better on those new pics and video, I suppose they looked bizarre in the first leaked pics because of an odd picture angle?   

Well they still need a neck, but they are cute and I'm glad to see new G1 stuff
