What I hope this year

I thought I'd share a little thing here.

This year is my year to focus on art and in doing so attempt to make a living from it.
 I don't know if I'll ever be able to, but I would very much like to. It's like the NBA, only a few people get to, and I hope that I get to be that person. At least I'll give it my best shot.

Setting your mind to a goal is a good thing, regardless of the outcome.

That's great! They say that sharing your goal is a good way to keep yourself focused and accountable. Keep us updated!

If it's overwhelming going from zero to selling art, try starting with baby steps. Work on a project a little bit a day. Then when you have one ready, you can start selling. I've seen so many wonderful artisans selling at local craft shows and even a hoagie place in town puts up local artists work for sale.

I'm excited for you. This is your year!
