Hey there!

I've been selling my collection for a little while now. I won't complain as that's against the rules, but let's just say I can't hold down a traditional job and have been struggling.

I was talking to my mom yesterday and I realized that my childhood dream of being an aviculturist - someone who breeds, sells, trains, and raises parrots is going to come true.

I have to sell just one more big ticket item before I have enough for everything. The certification courses, I start sunday. The brooder and incubator? I can afford. I just need enough money - about 60 dollars - to buy my first breeding pair and I'll be ready.

I am thankful to have found this site and to have the chance to meet all of you, I hope we can become friends! I'm so overjoyed at this prospect and I know that my dream will come true, very shortly even.

My boss is a major bird person and his Macaw is his prized possession! 

I hope you keep a few key favourites for nostalgia.  Good luck with achieving your goals :)

I'm sorry you've had trouble job-wise, but I'm glad you've found something that you love to do. Feel free to make a thread in our "for sale" forum to help get your ponies out there. I hope you keep a few favorites behind though. Enjoy the forums!

Hello and welcome! I'm sorry that you have to sell your collection, but unfortunately, real life does demand our resources and attention a bit more  :huh: How exciting to be starting toward your dream, though! Best of luck with that, and maybe one day you will be able to rebuild your pony collection (starting, perhaps, with bird-themed symbols and cutie marks?  :biggrin: :P)

Did you ever have Fairy Tail birds? If not, they're very cute, and as a bird person, they might be up your alley one day.  ;)
