2 days ago I did a serach on store locators for mew and there was only 1 available in all of Canada.  Then I saw a tweet saying more would be shipped int he next day(yesterday).

I sent my BF over to check on his way back from work and one 1 store had 6 mews.  He ended up getting a mew for someones birthday (Kiwi you will NOT let her know!) and a pika for me

So, atleast in Canada, they are restocking.  Just keep an eye out on the EB Games/Gamestop website.  I saw the tweet posted on the edge page (was looking at upgrading mine).


Now, for those that want me to go hunting for you--youre out of luck.  Not only am I unable to really go anywhere, a) the plushies here are $24 before taxes (that's to our 'lovely' govt! *grumbles* and b) shipping something like that out would cost a small fortune im sure.

OMG huuuuge congrats! Its it an amazing feeling!? *shows my own twinkly shiny charm to show Shugar Glider* You will definetly find shinies if you chain! So far in less than a week I have found these 5 shinies: pikachu, eevee, Skitty, and swablu. I found a golden magikarp too....eh but idk if he really counts since he is so easy to find already with old rod xD

I have been thinking about making real-like shiny charm keychains with some embroidery cord, a cell phone tasle, and some clay! That way when Pokemon Go comes out haha I will look like a total dork xD

It feels like a major accomplishment, like the best thing I have done since getting my MFA degree lol!
And you should totally make those charms!

Congrats! Having the shiny charm is so wroth it! I have quite a bunch myself.
But the best way to find shiny Pokémon IMO is horde hunting. Just have a Pokémon with the move sweet scent, use it, then normally you will run into a horde of Pokémon. If no shiny run away and repeat. I've even run into two shiny Pokémon in one horde.

Yay, shiny luck!! I got a shiny Nosepass last night using the horde method. If you get a double shiny horde, you can only get one, right? How do you choose which to catch?

My local GS had an 8" Mew doll today.  It's still there because I didn't want it.  I'm not big on most plush, though.  They didn't have the 2" Mew w/Pokeball, which I was looking for.  I wanted to see them in person before I get one, just to make sure it's what I really want.  They told me to check back because they were expecting a huge shipment of stuff.  So keep checking your stores for the stuff you want.  They just might get it.

Well, I haven't gotten any of the current merch, but I made a quick stop at Goodwill today and found a fairly old Pikachu plush! Score! I'm not a huge fan of Pikachu, but I don't dislike him and I found the plush for just $1.

I don't think I could choose between a double shiny horde. It would be SOOOO painful to make one faint, even if there is another one. Why can't we catch both!? *cries*

It's really rare to get 2 in one horde, but hey you never know! Hope you can get more shinnies! Its worth the reward!

Weee I found the pokeball mews at one of our gamestop, I wasnt going to be TOO upset if I never found them, but the thought of having the entier set really sounds good to me. xD My son and I each got one. Not too into the plush, they only had the pickachu anyway. Shaymins the only plush ill be fighting for lol.

Nothing!? O.o that's so crazyyyy! I will throw a little luck your way! You probably don't want the TRU and Walmart pikachu merch or Pokédolls at Target but did you find anything in your area? There's got to be more somewhere!

Maybe its because you dislike Pikachu that's why you only run into him Its the same story with me but with mew- I wasn't really hunting for him I mostly wanted pikachu exclusives!
