My first Monster High repaints!

They were a ton of fun and I plan to do a bunch more once I can get my hands on more dolls! I will be making outfits for them and doing proper photos soon. The green girl needs her hair done, too. I have no idea what I'm going to call them, but they used to be Scarah Screams and Cleo De Nile.

The green and black one has her stock hair. I'm not sure yet how I'm going to style it. The other one is wearing a wig that I made. I'd never made a wig before and just kind of decided to the other day so I made a pattern and made the wig.

Wow, what a compliment! She actually belonged to my daughter and when she saw me painting the other one she insisted I paint her extra Cleo to be "our friendship doll" so she will be staying with me. I will be doing a bunch more though and they may end up on Etsy if I get good enough to be comfortable selling to other people. For now I'm just building up my own collection. I'm really surprised that people like these so much!

They're named now. Cleo is now Juno and Scarah is Matilda.

These look great! I've started two custom MH dolls and am almost done with one of them, unfortunately the other needs to have her entire face redone so she'll take until the weather warms up at least.
Still need to get some of the 17 inch girls that I can get for the sole purpose of customizing instead of keeping them as their characters.

I want all of the Freak du Chic girls to repaint (but I'd keep their hair and outfits the same) so Gooliope is probably somewhere in my future. I've only seen the other big girls once in stores and I'm not sure how I feel about them, but I've heard great things about their articulation so hmmmm... I can't wait to see your customs! Please post them!

Thank you so much! Matilda is actually my favorite, too. Juno seems to be the ~crowd pleaser~ so it's nice to hear someone else likes poor Matilda. LOL
