2016 Disney Swap: All shipped! Waiting on boxes!

Just about done shopping just need some nice extras to finish. I also went a little overboard but I like the idea of that extra something to make someone surprised or happy.

The majority of what I've ordered is listed as arriving on Monday. There's still one more thing I'm thinking of getting. Better hurry up and order it if I'm gonna do it. It's local enough that I'm not too worried on timing yet, but if I get my extras, etc. this weekend I don't want them hanging around here too long after that.

Overall I'm quite pleased with how this box is coming together. I hope my partner likes it when they get it.

Well, I just ordered what I thought would be my last main item, but then on the way to work I noticed that Kmart is (finally) going out of business, so who knows what I'll find when I go there! That's actually where I was planning to go to search for extras, so...

I had some items arrive in the mail today for my partner's box! Just waiting on one more item and then need to pick up some extras and I'll be good to go!

Wow, so Kmart was still mostly fully stocked (I think they just announced their going out of business sale today), but there were noooooo good Disney items! I saw a lot of Disney Jr., Mickey Mouse, and (of course) Frozen, but that was it. At least I got some candy for my partner at a small discount. And slightly off topic -- they had no good ponies or Monster High dolls, either.

I thought about looking at kmart.. but ours is sooo so gross literally the roof is so leaky that they have water collection tubs in almost half the aisles, and more often than not, water actually dripping directly onto merchandise..  id be more worried about mold and stuff.. I wont be sad to see ours gone, its unfortunate for the lose of jobs though.

Also I THINK im done shopping.. I might try and find some nondisney extras.. as so far all the extras are also disney. I'm waiting for some things to ship, and I still need to shop for sweets... Discovered today, that im also going to need a bigger box. xD

Also partner, I hope it's not terribly tacky, but the tape I Plan on using to seal your box is disney themed, but is a theme that I can't see myself using for anything else in the future. Since it's practically a new roll of tape, (literally only used a small amount on your box) I'm planning on just tossing the rest of it in the box as.. yet another, disney extra. xD I hope this is ok.

ROFLOL thats just so awesome.  Tape up the box and then add the tape?  Can you tell me how you plan to magically make this happen?  It sounds like you have stellar super powers and I want to know how you can add to an already taped up box.

I tried to find more stuff to add to my partner's box today. I did find one thing that I almost bought but then changed my mind as I wasn't sure if it was something my partner would love.

I just realized that one of the things I ordered isn't going to get here until March ; So I'm trying to cancel it, and if I can't... (as it was a piece of a handmade thing) maybe I'll just make it and send it later, separately.. IDK

Oh no that is booooful True.  I have had that happen to me when I order something thinking its made.  Later, I realize it in fact isn't made and I have to wait for it to be made. That frustrates the Buzz out of me seriously. lol I don't know if that is your situation or not.

In this case it was a charm that i had planned on using in something that I was going to make. But if it doesnt cancel, I wont be too bummed, it was only $2 so its not as if its a huge lose.

I've just got one more item I'm waiting for in the mail. Next weekend I'll be going to the largest candy store in the U.S. to get some tasty treats for my partner (and myself ).
