Selling my collection - Goodbye Pony Community :(

Hi Everyone,

Happy new Year!

It's been a very long time since I last posted on here and I'm sorry if I've posted in th wrong section!
I have been debating for a while what to do with my collection and the time has come for me to finally sell up.

I'm 23 now and I'm in full time job and I am looking to move out in the near future. I think the ponies would be a fantastic deposit for my future and I feel others should get the joy from them that I once did.

If anyone is interested my g1 & G3 they will be going up on eBay over the next few months starting today (user: hattie_boo)

It has been a pleasure to know you and this is officially goodbye for me from the Pony community - thank you for all your kindness and we might meet again in the near future x

deeply sorry you want to leave the community. Sorry for telling, but there is no possibility that you keep your ponies for the future? I mean you're young 23 ;o))  and  I am so afraid that you sell them and in the coming years (maybe 3, 5 years or more 10 years later) you want to see them again but you do not have them anymore!

I echo everything Bibi said. I stopped actively collecting ponies for a long while when I was about 23, but I didn't sell them. They become harder to get as time goes on, and replacing them in the future may not be possible.

If it's 100% what you want, though, and you have other aims and goals to focus on for which the money would be useful, then I wish you all the luck in the world. It's just that parting with your collection is something you have to 100% sure you won't regret.

Maybe keep a few favourites as a memento - ones that hold special memories

I have given myself a lot of thought over this. I kinda stopped collecting when I was 16 and gave myself time to think about it

They are just collecting dust in boxes and I think it's such a shame when someone else could get the love from them.

Reading your post it feels like you've given this a lot of thought and the most important thing is that you feel comfortable with the decision. If sounds really sensible to me (again, if this is what you want, but it sounds like it).

Don't be a stranger though, you don't have to be an active collector to enjoy this community, I'm not
