Quote from: Diamond on January 02, 2016, 04:53:59 PMDo you have a thrift or second hand shop in your area? We have seen many a wonderful cabinet at our local ones, that are much easier on your budget. I've been scouting tbem and sometimes I can find a good deal. My model horse china cabinet I got was around $150 but lately the ones I seem to like are out of my price range. Like this lovely $500 dollar one I found recently. I don't know I've been looking a year and thought I might break down and try the IKEA ones. I would prefer to get one locally. We actually don't have a ton of flea markets or thrift shops here with very high turn over. The same stuff sits there for ages. There is a consignment furniture store I check where after so many days the price drops. I've had problems with people snagging before me and they don't do holds over the phone so either I'm there to get t or not. I thought it might be nice to have matching cabinets anyway since I'm redoing the guest room. I do think I'll try my luck at the shops again before ordering thee though. Thanks for all the responses everyone! I'm still reading through them and lol Carol I actually like it in your pictures. I might change my mind.

I've been hoping they either still have Billy cases when I have a pony room - mainly, I like that they have that nice corner unit for a clean and continuous look, no wasted space!

It's only the 39cm bookcase (15 ¼ ") on a different direction and assembled with special fittings in that way.We searched it at the store

I guess that explains why I never saw this particular set-up in the store! I still like the look, though, even if it isn't a "true" corner unit. Very good to know, thank you!
