I recently acquired these ponies as a free gift to my daughter. As you can see, they need some love. I haven't started cleaning and I do have good information on how to do that. I'm stumped on the tails. Is there somewhere to get them? Do I need to make them? Please help! Also, is there any way to restore a cutie mark? I would love to add at least some of these to our collection. Firefly, lemondrop, and cotton candy are the three we love. I'm willing to give away the others to someone who can restore them.
Ok having trouble with the picture. I'll get it up as soon as possible.
Dollyhair.com sells MLP hair. The tails are pretty easy to do.
Replacement hair
Plastic Ziptie
Wire
Hemostats
Just pop off the head, take out the old tail, fold the new hair in half over a piece of wire that toys are wrapped in, pull it through the tail hole with the hemostats close the ziptie around the tail from the inside of the pony and replace the head and cut the tail to the length you want.
It's so easy to do, even someone artistically challenged like me, who can screw up a stick figure can do it.
Have fun.
As for symbols and other things. Go to the mlprestorationproject website. It's gots lotsa good tutorials and tricks for restoration.
