Tell me about your GRAIL!

My grails at the moment: Patch and Brazilian Wind Whistler. Patch is the last one I need for the 7-tales set, and Brasilian Wind Whistler, *sigh*, she's my favorite pony in my favorite pose. I'll probably never get her (unless I win the lottery or something...) but a girl can dream. 

Some of the ponies I own might have been grails at the time, but now they are just my favorite ponies in my collection.

My two top grails were Holly wood and Princess Tiffiany. Both of which i have managed to snag.

My Grail?

MOC Click and Nosy.  They're the last twin set I need G2 MOC to finish the set off. There was a point where I was collecting PICs of Click and Nosy MOC online b/c I knew I'd have a hard time finding them.

Other awesome stuff I want that I know I'll never get?

I was very blessed to get TWO Munchys this Christmas season. She was my main Grail pony ever since I got into collecting. When I was a child hot dogs were my favorite food, so between her symbols and her coloring, Munchy was a huge want for me.

Sweet_Stuff kindly and generously sent me a very beautiful Munchy in a private swap box... Then this morning I unwrapped a Munchy from my husband, since I had been talking her up a lot over the past several months. (She was already under the tree when the swap box came apparently!) He was very cool about not being too disappointed when my swap Munchy came, and he got me lots of other great stuff, so I was able to persuade him that I was very happy and it felt very special to get TWO of such a great pony. (need to do a Christmas brag later!)

(He says his new quest is to find me a MOC Munchy someday- that one might take awhile!)

I thought Takaras were fakies until last week when my sister educated me. I've seen two mib in the wild and didn't pick them up. I'm going back soon and hopefully they will still be there.

I have a few grails I'd like to get:

-20" Fluttershy plush from Funrise
-Glitter Funko Fluttershy Vinyl
-Each of the sizes of the Fluttershy NICI plushes

And maybe one day getting a MOC Posey

My top grail right now is Dutch Diary pony because well, she's the only variant of my favorite pony, MLP Tales Bright Eyes.  I've come really close to getting her but she always seems to pop up when I've blown my pony budget or the auction ends when I can't babysit it and I'm outbid at the last minute.  I know I could put some insane amount in like 300$ but I don't want to pay that much so she remains elusive for now.

In general any Nirvana Applejack is also a grail as are the Mountain Boys and the princess dragons.   It's a happy time at Casa de' Bright Eyes when I get any of those

My longtime grail was Hushabye. Big BBE's are awesome.
I've moved on to even bigger fish (just like many others); Rapunzel. I love tinsel and long pony hair plus she reminds me of Glittering Gem (who was a childhood pony).

my current grails are  Munchy, Crumpet, Baby Crumpet and Chrysalis cause I can't seem to find Chrys anywhere when I do go on the look.
Crumpet and baby cause I knew I had them when I was a kid and they disappeared during our many moves chrys again simply cause I want her and Munchy cause my best friend at the time had one and had promised it to me when she downsized her collection of stuff. never got it cause she decided that all her ponies -Rapunzel included- deserved a bonfire. D:

yeap she went through an weird emo phase and decided that anything she once liked needed to...ugh what did she say "they need to be ash black like the color of my childhood".  or something close to that, it was years ago when it happened and I hadn't realized how hard to get Punzie is. I was more upset with the loss of Munchy.

and it wasn't just ponies, her she-ra, breyers and other collectibles went into the fire

I'm not sure I have any grails right now but mine were Baby Sweet Surprise who I bought from someone on here my first year as a member here, a Fluttershy plush which was successful twice with the Funrise and Build a Bear ones and I wanted Muffins pony and got her in the forms of the Funko figure and Build a Bear plush so yay.^^
