Close enough?

So, I wasn't customizing ponies until after the new Dollyhair Daiquiri Ice came about so the color, for me, has always been a bluish green color rather than a blueish seafoam color.

I'm wondering how close the polypropylene color Heartless is to the old nylon DI? I've worked with a bit of the poly before and though there is a texture to it, I don't find it to be bad and when styled is not noticeably different from nylon.

Is this an acceptable substitution to those trying to use the last bit of what they have or match what they loved before?

Depends upon what you are looking to do I guess. I see the color difference and I was trying to finish an already started project I would see the difference.  If I was say doing a blend, then maybe not so much.

It is close - but I can see there is a difference, slight but it is there.

I would try to blend them if I was in that situation. I've only tried blending hair once before and it seemed to take forever, but I'd do it rather than have a noticeable difference along the way.
