hello everypony ♥ 
my name is olivia but feel free to call me livie (or sweetpop!).
I'm 18 years old and I come from finland. I used to have an account some years back (username was something rainbow related) but I deleted when the g4 started.
I really couldn't stand them at first.

I mainly collect the first generation ponies 
my first ponies were from my mum (NSS truly + 4-speed) she used to play with them when she was a kid and I later became obsessed with them too.
long story short: one day me and my twinsister painted our dog, teddy bears and truly with blue permanent marker (let's say that mum wasn't amused! she had to wash our dog for hours).
when I later found out about it's value I was shocked! I'm glad I found out about the "acne cream technique" and she looks like new now ♥

I have about 30 g1 ponies so my collection isn't the largest possible but I love every one of them and I'm glad to own most of my favourites ♥ (e.x. milky way, ringlet, sugar sweet!) my goal is to get all the ponies my mum used to have. I'm a poor student and I don't really have money to buy them online since the shipping usually costs more than the pony itself but I'm glad to have friends that know about my hobby- I have gotten so many from them!
I have some other pony items as well (incluing old plates, mug, pony houses + lunch case)

I grew up watching my little pony tales and I had to watch the show all over again and now I'm hooked on ponies again! I have also gotten more into g3 nowadays 

I like to draw a lot (and do graphic design) so I will probably upload some pony art in near future!
can't wait to get to know more people here ♥

I think the acne cream technique actually stains ponies doesn't it? I'll have to check on that, but I've heard acne cream isn't a good treatment on our equine pals. Sounds like you have a great collection, I hope to see some of your art here soon! Enjoy the forums!

it really depends of the plastic. i tried it on some of my ponies' hooves (for about a week) and some of them lost color.
Truly has white body so there is no marks/stains left and i did almost 2 years ago, so i don't think it's gonna have any effect anymore. I tried everything else before it (chloride, nail polish remover and all kinds of strong stuff before i was a collector)
