Anyone know of MLP Plastic Canvas Patterns
« on: November 12, 2015, 09:13:46 PM »
Anyone know where to find plastic canvas patterns?  We could probably make our own from "pixel" art but wondered if any one has seen actual patterns or templates.

Thanks!

I'm an avid plastic canvas crafter, but I haven't seen any official patterns, just self-created ones. There's a bunch of pattern sharing groups on Facebook.

Are those like the little plastic grids that you can use yarn to create little designs?  I did some of those when I was a kid.  I haven't seen any MLP ones, but I bet you could find something if you went searching for cross-stitch patterns or pixels.  :)

gabumon - there are many groups. Just doing a search will bring up many. I'm in 7 at the moment, and it's always suggesting more to me. Also Pinterest always has patterns posted.

Zenna - yup, that's it exactly. :) I do more of the 3D projects, but have done some flat pics too (need to clear some pics from my cameras).

I'm sorry I'm not sure what you mean... I goggled it and came up with what looks like sprite art? Like perlers or cross stitch, is that right? If so, you're welcome to use the sprites I drew a few years ago, I've used them in perlers and they worked quite well.

I know people have used perler and cross-stitch patterns as well (myself included). Basically anything grid-based can be converted. But plastic canvas patterns often use other types of stitches as well (it's essentially needlepoint done on a plastic grid instead of soft canvas).

I have a couple pony PC projects (gifts, not ones I've done):
