Spray on Nail Polish in the UK
« on: November 12, 2015, 01:09:52 PM »
For those of you living in the UK, have any of you heard about or maybe seen this new spray on nail polish? Right now it's only available in the UK and won't make it to the US till Spring 2016. It's from a UK-based beauty brand called Nails Inc. It looks really interesting and sounds like it works. There are only 2 colors right now but they're working on more.

I always, ALWAYS have my nails done and painted. This new spray on nail polish sounds like a must have for me. I'm horrible at painting my own nails so I go to a nail salon once or twice a month and spend around $30-$60. If anyone in the UK had access to buying it, I would totally be interested in making a deal with you.  Not sure I can handle waiting till the Spring, lol.

Sounds neat! But knowing me I get the feeling it'd be a disaster.

I find it hard believing you can wipe the polish off your hands without it messing the nails.

Its interesting though

*grins* I bet this stuff is formulated to only stick to hard surfaces, which will be good for nails, but not so good for the table...I'll probably try it if it isn't too expensive.

for me, the trick to painting my nails and have it look 'professional' is going over my fingers with elmers school glue.  I run a toothpick around the edges of my nails, peel the glue off my nails, then paint.  When it's dry, I peel off the rest of the glue, and no paint on my fingers! :)

Neat! I'm going to try glue next time I do my nails

I feel like a spray would be messy??

Every time I paint my nails the polish never seems to dry. I have long nails by choice, but even if I paint just the ends it doesn't seem to dry, ever (even if it's a brand new bottle). I even put it on thin and wait around. Interesting concept, but I can't imagine how spraying on polish isn't messy.
I found the stick on nail polish works for me for a day or two rather well. You may want to see if that is available mlp_loving, kinda fun stuff and easy to apply and seal, not as expensive as a salon either. :o)

Do you apply a top coat? when I did my beauty training I learnt that most nail polish can not set completely with out a top coat. xx

Well boo, now I'm stuck waiting for this to hit the shelves in the US in the Spring I guess.  :(

And @lunar_scythe, that sounds like a pretty good trick with the glue. I may have to give it a try sometime. Thanks for sharing!
