Creative Ribbon Use!

I absolutely love using ribbons to style my ponies, usually just tied around the tail or neck.  Has anyone ever done something a little bit... crazier though?  I sure have, they're just so versatile!

Here is Lickety Split with a ribbon headwrap.  I was covering his midsection is gauze to cover a stain, then put some on her legs to complete the look.  At that point I figured I might as well go all the way and bound the ribbon all around her head.  I ended up making her a grizzled Ice Cream Wars veteran in her backstory after all that craziness!

Dazzleglow is comparatively sane, but I love how it came out.  I just twisted the ribbon around a blue stripe in her mane and tied it at both ends.  Simple, yet distinct!

But now comes the fun part, show ME your creative ribbon use on ponies!  I'd love to see what other people are doing!

It's hard to tell from the photo, but I found this ribbon that matches Sundance's symbol and made this sort-of-custom around it:

There is something magical about ribbons and ponies, you can do almost anything and it ends up looking amazing.  I'm pretty tempted to try some of these, especially the braiding a ribbon into the tail one.
