It's way too hard to remember since we had so many, and there were so many revisions to our collection over the years there was also G2, Fakies, etc in our collection at one time but all of those got sold in a garage sale, along with a box of G1 ones we didn't want I know some of these ponies were in that lot. We also had a few Teeny Tiny baby ponies that our neighbor loved so she got those. The rest of the collection still over 100 ponies went to the cousins where most got in pretty rough shape, I have some of them back now including Mimic.

I would say my first memory of finding a pony at a thrift store was Big Brother Chief (which was a savers that isn't around anyone, and it was the greatest savers to ever exist)

I think I had a few random G2s when I was really little (my mum swears I had some of the McG2s) but I can't remember for sure, I wasn't really a MLP girl. The one I consider my "first pony" is G2 Ivy, who I got later on, around the start of G3 I love her so much. Even now, she's still my favourite pony

Rainbow Pony Windy, Christmas 1984. I was 2, almost 3. My mother remembers still where she got it (the exact place in the exact store, LOL) and that they were all pinned up on the pillar. She saw them and thought they were pretty, and that Windy was the prettiest of them all, so she bought her for my Christmas present.

I didn't really take to MLP until my birthday the following Feb, though, when I had Baby Blossom and therefore "Mum and Baby" to play with. So Windy was first, but Baby Blossom was the instigator for pony love.

The first ponies I remember getting (vaguely) are Cherries Jubilee and Snowflake. Masquerade happened somewhere in the middle of them but for some reason I don't remember getting her. I just know that my first five ponies were Windy, Baby Blossom, Cherries Jubilee, Masquerade and Snowflake in that order.

The first pony I remember choosing myself was Tropical Breeze and I was five

All of the above still live with me, though Tropi has had to have her wings repaired.

It was in 1986, I was eight years old and wanted a My Little Pony more than anything, but my parents thought them too expensive. My 20 year old brother took his car, drove to the toy store and bought me  Tickle. I cried with joy and slept with her in my bed for months. I still love Tickle the best to this day.

Firefly with my own allowance money.  She wasn't my first choice, but was the only pony available.  Glory was my second and boy did I love her purple and blue hair.  I do appreciate Firefly more now however.

G1 Blossom, concave-hoof (we never had flatties in the UK).

It was almost Minty - my mum was buying, and she likes green. I like purple, the pony was a present for me and so my wishes won out that day  although later on I did wish I'd listened to Mum and got Minty instead, because she was the last of the original six that I managed to find, and that took me almost twenty years! In that time, so many Blossoms passed through my hands as part of job lots of ponies...I eventually found Minty at a toy sale at a local school, and did I pounce when I saw her sitting on the table? Yes I did!

I have no idea who my first pony was when I was a child. I had more than I could count back then and I got some from an older cousin that were released before I was born (in 1987) so there is no way of knowing.

If we're talking NOW since I am just beginning to collect as an adult, Raincurl is my first (and currently only.)
