2015 Annual Arena Card Swap

I decided to pull out the paint, brushes, etc., and do some painting.

I'm hoping to make a nice picture for card use...  too late?

So...  either I will have local-related cards or cards with a picture I painted for the year.

Maybe both, depending on how I feel, and how long this process takes...

I had planned to buy some vintage style cards that doubled as advent calendars (just with pictures not candy or anything).  But when I was at the store today I found some beautiful cars that basically feature photos of things in my neighbourhood.  That might sound boring, but my neighbourhood is fairytail picuture book beautiful.  I thought they were too perfect not to use. 

That sounds totally awesome and unique.

Shutterfly is still not done production yet. Grrr... C'mon, don't make me double up and visit Hallmark, too! My cards say they should arrive between Nov. 19 - 30th and I'm paranoid they won't be here when I need them!!!

For some reason Iv decided to water color individual cards this year instead of making prints. xD its ok though! I love water color.

I found some blank cards marked down to .50 that I was originally going to stick the paintings to.. but now i'm thinking i might like to just keep them flat and put my christmas greeting on the backside, and just use the envelopes to mail out the art.

what do you guys think? would that be ok, or is that too much like a postcard?
