Nirvana hair colour combos - esp Arco Iris and Argies

So I've started dying some of my baity ponies using Jacquard iDye.  I've had mixed results (it doesn't dissolve particularly well) but it's a great way to add a bit of vibrancy to a manky Tootsie or smoozy Blossom.

I absolutely LURVE the colour combos used on the Brazilian Arco Iris and Argentinian ponies, yet because of the TERRIBLE exchange rate for us Australians I'm really just not prepared to start buying any at present. 

What I would love some help on, is some guidance with vague DollyHair shade matching, so that I can make some customs that pay homage to the fabulous colour combos used by these South American toymakers.  Was there a particular colour palette used by them, and what are they approx matches to the modern hair suppliers?

Obviously the hair texture is VERY different, but my vibrant gals are acting as great placeholders for the time being!

Would love to post them! Lack of Tapatalk makes it very cumbersome.

Which ponies are you planning to make? it will help me be able to know which colours to suggest.
