Candle/Wax Tart Junkies?
« on: October 25, 2015, 10:26:31 AM »
Anyone else into these (or other home fragrance methods)? I've really gotten into wax tarts/melts recently. Some great vendors out there. Some of favs include Panda Candy Wax, Jamianne's Wax Creations, and Wonderberry Wax. I adore Tea & Cakes scents, and cereal scents/blends (Fruit Loops, Cap'n Crunch).

What are some of your favorite brands/sellers and scents?

Never heard of this before, but they sound like they could be fun. Would be a great way to perk up a dreary winter night.

They are! Lots of great seasonal scents. You can get electric or tea light warmers, which I enjoy. Glade makes a really good electric one.

Yes, junkie is a good word for it!

I have so many different scents it's ridiculous. Mine are mostly from major retailers, though: Yankee Candle, Bath and Body Works, Scentsy, and... I think I got a bunch at Kmart, too. I probably have some that are Glade brand...

Did you know that there are Jolly Rancher flavored (scented) ones?! I haven't gotten any but I've seen them in the store.

I hadn't seen the Jolly Ranchers ones yet. Will have to keep an eye out. I saw Burt's Bees has a line of wax out now, but unfortunately, I haven't read many good reviews for them.

I've found several good scents at Walmart. For $1-$3, the price is right!

I still get Bath & Body Works candles on occassion as well. Their Pumpkin Coconut that's out now is really good! Just wish they did tarts.

A family friend runs Dessa's Homespun Scents. She is on facebook and etsy and her wax melts are the best! Super strong and last and she has tons of scents. She even has a "fruit loops" scent....and it is so spot on!

Yep I have tea light bases, for some reason those are getting harder to find lol. But I have one on each floor, (our house is small). I havent bought new tarts in a while, because I got so many last time, but I might have to as were actually running low.

Yes! I love them. I have several electric warmers scattered throughout my house. I buy most of my wax cubes/tarts at Walmart because it is inexpensive and I shop there a bit. I prefer them to candles as they are safer. I am running low on the Christmas scents I like to use so may have to grab some soon.

After I read this thread I found my box of wax things (candles and tarts) and set up a warmer for the autumn season. I have sooo many Autumn/Christmas themed scents. I had moved over the summer and I never unpacked my wax tarts, so this was a good reminder to do it! :D So right now I have a basic cinnamon scent in the warmer. :)
